Sarvam – My Review

Star Cast: Arya, Trisha, J.D.Chakravarthy, Indrajeeth, Rohan,…

Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja

Story – Screenplay – Direction: Vishnu Vardhan

Producer: Ayangaran International

Performances:

Arya did excel as Karthik. He was extremely good in first half with scenes involving Trisha. Arya proved his maturity as an actor in the hospital scene where Trisha dies. Trisha never looked this fresh before and she is at her best in everything. More screen space for her could have made it a Trisha’s movie. J.D is nothing special, we(Telugu people) have seen him like this a lot of times. Tamil audience might feel something fresh. Indrajeeth as Naushad and kid Rohan as Imman are good.

Cinematography - Nirav Shah

His work is the first highlight of movie. Each and every frame is too rich and glossy. We can’t take our eyes away from the screen even for a second.

Music – Yuvan

Songs are pretty average. But background score is superb. Great work by Yuvan.

Editing by Srikar Prasad in 2nd half should have been better. One on One fight b/w Arya and J.D looks stretched. Stunts by Thyagarajan are very good.

Story – Screenplay – Direction

Story is good. Initially looks like a regular love story but turns well with the twist. But my personal feeling was no proper justification in showing J.D with a complete negative approach. When Arya decides to save the kid because he had his lady’s heart, why can’t a father seek revenge for his son’s death, which is not just an accident. Carelessness of Indrajeeth was also clearly shown as cause for J.D’s wife and son’s death.

Screenplay in 2nd half should have been dealt better. Direction is top class and trendy.

On a whole, it’s a good one from Vishnu-Arya-Trisha. Worth a watch for the first half and Technical departments.

Hope Prasadz will screen this, waiting to watch it on big screen.
